VIRTUAL HIKE FOR HOSPICE 2021
For 2021, we hosted our second Virtual Hike for Hospice, keeping everyone’s safety in mind. We all wanted to get out of our homes but still be safe and practice social distancing. People joined together virtually for a 1km, 5km, 10km walk, run, or bike ride. They went to our local parks and tried out our communities’ many trails. Dogs were walked! And steps added to Fitbits!
Hike for Hospice brought in $7,434.75, much needed funds to support Desert Valley Hospice Society’s clients in long-term care facilities, in hospital, or in care in their own homes. For that we thank you. Healthy communities are very important to us.
