Provide emotional support, comfort, encouragement, and health and wellness information to clients with a palliative diagnosis, individuals needing hospice care, people living with dementia, caregivers, and seniors seeking community support and companionship.
Our Volunteers
- Sit and visit with clients, for up to 4 hours at a time, so caregivers can get other things done.
- Make wellness check-in calls by phone, providing comfort, conversation, and a community connection.
- Provide palliative massage.
- Produce videos, enabling seniors to share their stories with family and friends.
- Provide companionship.
- Are trained in palliative support, grief support, and dementia support.
- Most importantly, love to listen.
