what we do

Picture
Advocacy
Supporting people so that they can have a 'good finish' needs to be a key priority of government and health care services. To that end, we lobby and educate key decision makers in hopes of constantly improving support and services for those nearing end-of-life.

Caring for Our Communities

The care and support of individuals with life-limiting illnesses is our top priority.  We are also committed to growing our hospice programs and enhancing our abilities to best meet the growing need for hospice, palliative, dementia, and end-of-life care services in our communities.

Fundraising
We count on our fundraising events to raise awareness in our communities. The money generated here, and provided by generous individual and business donors, is used to support our communities through our services and programs.

Honouring the Memories of Loved Ones
Some of our special events, including our Celebration of Caring Hands and Hike for Hospice, offer opportunities to honour the memories of loved ones lost.

Public Awareness and Education
Through media, events and presentations, we work to educate community members about hospice care, palliative care, and life-limiting illness care and support services.
